The 2022 MUSE Inspire Conference is quickly approaching, and we’re starting to get a more complete picture of what the event will look like after a two-year hiatus. Forward Advantage will be in attendance (booth #611), and we look forward to connecting and sharing our exciting new solutions for improving patient experience, cloud-based faxing through Communication Director, and cybersecurity/identity governance.
We’ve compiled a quick “starter's guide” below to help get you up to speed on this year’s conference so you can plan your schedule accordingly. As always, we are happy to answer any questions and hope you consider booking a meeting with us to discuss your strategic goals.
What to Expect
This year’s MUSE Inspire Conference will be held at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas from May 15th to 18th. A return to an in-person event, you can expect over 100 breakout sessions. It is worth noting that all event attendees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated and will follow these steps at registration*:
- Step 1: Show government-issued ID.
- Step 2: Verbally attest that you have been fully vaccinated or have had a negative COVID-19 test result within the past 72 hours.
- Step 3: Receive your nametag.

Pre-conference workshops will be held on Sunday, May 15th for an extra fee. Additionally, MUSE will offer a Heart of MUSE collector’s pin to contributors who support a local charity. With the funds collected, MUSE will donate to GRACE Community Clinic, a medical home for uninsured families that do not have access to traditional healthcare.

Palo Pinto General Hospital Site Visit
As you plan your schedule at MUSE, it is worth noting that Palo Pinto General Hospital will host a site visit on Sunday, May 15th. This opportunity is limited to 30 attendees and transportation will be provided. The site visit fee is $50 and registration in advance is required. Topics during the visit will cover:

Keynote Speakers – MEDITECH President & COO
It is also noteworthy that MEDITECH President, Michelle O'Connor and EVP and COO, Helen Waters, will be the Keynote Speakers on Tuesday, May 17th.

This session will review practical steps on how to identify the current stage of your Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy, inventory and assess your technology stack, then utilize that data to build a roadmap for a successful strategy.
1042 - Optimize MEDITECH Expanse with a Secure and Convenient Mobile Strategy – Lee Howard
Creating a strategy to support mobility and ambulatory workflows is critical to success when using a web-based EHR. We have helped multiple MEDITECH customers select the right technologies and workflows to maximize physician & patient satisfaction. Lee will share some of his firsthand experiences and lessons learned, plus helpful tips for things you will need to consider in advance.
Lee Howard is Vice President of Client Services for Forward Advantage, Inc. and has over 20 years of experience in healthcare information technology. Lee oversees the smooth communication between the company and its customers and associates. His teams focus on providing solutions and services for the company’s information exchange and faxing solutions, as well as identity & access management solutions.
1043 - Patients Want an Amazon Experience: How to Build a Consumer-Focused and Branded Patient Experience Across the Health System – Audrey Brislin
This session will discuss ways to create a vision pulling together the disparate digital strategies across the health system operationally, with an integrated approach, so consumers have a consistent experience with the brand throughout their continuum of care.
Audrey Brislin is VP of Marketing & Product Management at Forward Advantage and has worked in software & technology for most of her career, spending the past 10 years in healthcare marketing. Audrey works alongside Forward Advantage development teams, MEDITECH and customers to bring a solution to market that integrates a health system’s patient engagement initiatives with the MEDITECH portal to provide a consistent experience for patients in their health journeys.
